Description

In your Command phase, each Questoris Knight with a Bondsman ability can select an Armiger knight within 12″; both models will benefit from whatever that Bondsman ability is, until your next Command phase. Super-heavy Walker Thousand Sons were some of the best Chaotic Space Marine models release before the jump to primaris. and boy are they some cool detailed models. This boxed set is built around a massive Knight Questoris kit, which can build Canis Rex or any of the Questoris-class Knights – including Paladin, Crusader, Warden, Errant, Gallant, and Preceptor. This mighty lynchpin is supported by four fast-moving Armiger-class scouts – two Armiger Helverins offer supporting fire with powerful autocannons, and two Armiger Warglaives rush in when the fighting gets up close and personal. This box provides six plastic models with a range of build options, making it an ideal way to start a new Imperial Knights army or add to your existing collection. There’s obviously different build options for some units, and you’ll want to add upgrades and gear that will increase the points values, but for the sake of the value breakdown we’re just using the box contents as advertised by Games Workshop. Each Knight World owes fealty to one of two great masters, the Imperium of Man or the Mechanicus of Mars, making them part of the Questor Imperialis and Questor Mechanicus respectively. These bonds of service can be traced to the Great Crusade when the Knight worlds were united with the Imperium and swore oaths to ride forth to the defence of their liege lords.

A very similar value in each box, although the Death Guard one is very tempting… don’t tell Sanguinius!

Questor Imperialis and Questor Mechanicus

Armiger Knights are piloted by lesser nobles, illegitimate children and squires to the Knight House. Comparatively small, Armigers are like the hunting dogs to the larger Knight suits cavalry, and benefit from the tutelage of the larger Questoris Knight suits, reflected in game by Bondsman abilities. Rules for these magnificent war engines in ninth edition appeared in the Imperial Armour Compendium, and are likely to show up in a similar Index for 10th edition. The Moirax is a variant Armiger, and the Styrix and Magaera are variants on the Questor chassis. More imposing (and more expensive), the Lancer, Acheron, Castigator and Atropos are all Knights of the long-limbed Cerastus class, faster and sturdier than their Questor counterparts. Three classic Warhammer novels are released as MP3 audiobooks next week. In Gods of Mars , Archmagos Kotov’s great voyage is over, and his fleet marvels at the wonders that they have found – but reality itself is threatened by nefarious elements who plan to misuse these impossible technologies. This is the final part of Graham McNeill’s Forge of Mars series.

Canis Rex, which also builds 1x Sir Hekhtur on foot, and can alternatively build a variety of Knight Questoris variants You can find rules for using Escher Cutters in The Aranthian Succession – Cinderak Burning . Escher Tactics Cards and Ash Wastes Dice Another year another set of battle boxes. this time with more boxes available than we’ve seen before. We usually see about 6 a year and this time we have 8. The Helverin carries a pair of cannons that can project a hail of long-range fire, while the Warglaive has a short Reaper Chain-Cleaver and a Thermal Spear, effective anti-tank weapons or capable of ripping elite infantry to shreds. Anyone who had nuns in big metal jumpsuits on their Christmas bingo card is going to be rubbing their hands with glee at the Sanctorum Guard battleforce, which contains 23 saintly miniatures. Morven Vahl spearheads a cohort of six Paragon Warsuits, while a complement of Celestian Sacresants and a Battle Sister squad give you more zealots than you can shake a brazier at.

Dominus Knights

In addition, the Imperial Armour: Imperial Knights document adds rules for the many knights produced by Forge World. This is also interesting as Games Workshop generally doesn’t send things to trade accounts as MTO, so we’ll have to see if hobbyists are still interested in them by the time they return to local stores in 2o23. The quest to save Ulfenkarn comes to an end with the final expansion for Warhammer Quest: Cursed City. Nightwars will bring your heroes’ gruelling journey to a close with new quests, new enemies, and new ways to use your Soulblight Gravelords collection. You’ll need the previous expansion, and the required miniatures to play. Imperial fists don’t have a big top dog like the other factions, but this box will still be a great starting point for new players. Battleforce: Raven Guard – Ravenstrike Battle Force Just after an Imperial Knight that is eligible tofight and hasn’t fought yet is destroyed; that unit fights as though it has one wound. Then it’s destroyed (roll for Deadly Demise). Sir Hekhtur can’t use this Stratagem.

Sir Hector is a Legendary Freeblade; once per turn you can target him with a Stratagem for 0CP, even if another unit has been targeted by that Stratagem this phase. The first Imperial Knights Detachment is the Noble Lance. It provides a very simple buff: your Knights have the core ability Feel No Pain 6+, which increases to 5+ when the army is Honoured. Reflecting the Preceptor’s role as a mentor to novice Knights, the the Preceptor’s Bondsman ability increases the OC value of it and its Bondsman by one, and their Leadership by one. The ‘Exemplar of the Code’ lets the Preceptor choose an enemy unit to make a lesson out of at the start of the game, granting them re-rolls to Hit against that target. The Adeptus Custodes are the most magnificent of the Emperor’s warriors, sworn to protect the Throneworld from rebels, invaders, and anyone looking to open their presents early. This Battleforce puts the peerless Captain-General Trajann Valoris at the head of a powerful cadre comprising three Vertus Praetors on Dawneagle Jetbikes (which can also build a Shield Captain) and three indomitable Allarus Custodians (which can also build a Shield-Captain and a Vexilus Praetor). The bulk of this unbreakable force is made up of 15 Custodian Guard , which also have options to build Shield Captains and Vexilus Praetors. Adeptus Mechanicus – Elimination Maniple The Imperial Knights Index was released by Games Workshop on June 14, and comes with all the datasheets you need to play with Imperial Knights models in Warhammer 40k 10th edition. That includes both datasheets, thefaction’s army-wide special rules, and their first Detachment, the Noble Lance.

To prepare youto lead a Knights army of your own, this guide has details of Imperial Knights tactics, stratagems, information from their Warhammer 40k 10th edition Index army rules, and a run-down of the main Knight classes and their weapons. Time to sally forth! The junior pilots of lesser Armiger Knight Suits can be inspired to greater acts of valor – or simply have their willpower overriden – by the masters they are pledged to, reflected in the Bondsman abilities of Questor class Knights. If your opponent has brought only a limited quantity of anti-tank weapons, the Castellan can wipe them away in a single salvo. Just remember that almost all the weaponry borne by the Castellan is a blast weapon, which cannot be brought to bear when engaged in melee, so it is extremely vulnerable to being tied up by chaff.
