It's not aquatic as Aqua di gio profondo or Mr burberry but instead it's more citrus in the opening but the dry down is fairly close to the same as ADG profondo and Mr burberry. These pulse zones have a higher temperature than the rest of the body, and this will help the fragrance to evaporate more slowly. Very fruity fresh to start and the dry down is great clean scent that reminds me of some laundry detergent I can't place.

There's something sharp in the opening citruses that makes me think of cleaning products or hospitals 😭 The drydown is much nicer, the vetiver gives it a well groomed vibe 😌 although there is a sweetness to it at first that I didn't expect and makes it smell a bit medicinal or like camphor to me and tbh I didn't dig it until it turned into a skin scent, which didn't take long as it doesn't seem to last much ~2-3hrs and the sillage is also close to skin. It won't offend anyone, but surely is not going to cut it for the colder months, even with the sweetness it brings to the citrus here. As the scent develops, the middle notes of rosemary come into play, giving a fresh and aromatic twist to the fragrance. Oh, and whatever the aroma chemical(s) used to create that delightfully subtle drydown, it has lasting power on clothing. Hugo Reversed" smelled for me, with a blind test without any information, first after a tangy mandarin and a loose find smell. The mandarin has become more of a grapefruit, and something is lacking in the spine or the woody components, but otherwise it's finally a boss again, who can scold so much. I like the sharpness and zesty effect of lemon, I believe this is quite apparent because of high amounts of Citronellol.

I would not say that it's anything groundbreaking, but it is an extremely pleasant and easy to wear fragrance that can be enjoyed by many different people and their tastes. I think it’s fairly close to Office especially in the opening, but it does lack Jeremy’s trademarked “POWER!Not sure if my bottle is fake (doubt that Hugo would get counterfeited but I might be wrong) or the fragrance is that weak. Which are kind of candied as someone else mentions and if it stayed that way the entire life of the fragrance, I probably would not like it as much.

I can definitely see the appeal, but to me it's difficult to get over the harshness (without a better word to describe) that genuinely makes my head hurt.
